Thinking about a career change or studying Art, Craft or Design at University? Or do you just want to develop your creative practice more fully? At the Mary Ward Centre we have a range of courses available to suit your level and area of interest.
A Focus on Figure
Inspired by some of the great works of art in the British Museum, for those with a fascination with figure. You should have prior experience of drawing from observation or a willingness to try.
Advanced Creative Practice in Arts
This course is for students who have completed Level 3 Art or Design Access or Foundation or have reached an equivalent level through taught and independent art or design work.

The Cafe
The vegetarian cafe at 42 Queen Square is a popular meeting place for lunch, for dinner, for coffee and cake. The cafe has vegan, gluten and wheat free selections, and so can suit all kinds of tastes.
While enjoying the cafe’s friendly atmosphere, with a leafy outlook to Queen Square, you can view displays of students’ artwork that add colour and interest to the convivial surroundings.
