To add courses please browse through the Courses selection and click 'Enrol' on the course description of the relevant course if this button is shown, indicating that there is room on the course. You can add as many courses as you like before proceeding to payment.

Concessionary Fees
If you receive means-tested benefits you should be able to claim a concessionary fee. It is not possible to claim concessionary fees on-line as documentary evidence of your entitlement is required at the time of enrolment.

The Mary Ward Fund - Help With Fees, Travel and Course Materials
If you feel that the cost of the course is the only thing putting you off enrolling, but you are not able to claim concessionary fees, then you may be able to claim from the Mary Ward Fund for help with fees and expenses. The Mary Ward Fund gives grants to current and potential students. This is where you come in. Give a donation and your money will both directly help students who need it to study and help maintain the Mary Ward equalisation ethos.

Membership Fee
The fee was introduced in 2007/2008, and will be set at £10 for 2011/2012. It is charged to all students, except those attending English and Skills for Life courses, and those on our widening participation programme. It helps to mitigate the decrease in funding from the government for adult education which has taken place over the last few years, and which otherwise would lead to a much larger increase in fees. It also helps us to keep a appropriate balance between the price of the full fee and the concessionary fee, so that we continue to have a wide mix of students.

When you enrol on a course and sign your learning agreement, you are agreeing to become a member of the Mary Ward Settlement. All staff, as well as students, are members and have both the opportunity of electing representatives to the Board of Trustees and to vote at the AGM, which was on Monday 15 December at 6.15pm. Members are invited to take an active part in the life of the Mary Ward Centre. The Principal and Vice Principal hold open meetings for members during the year. These meetings offer the opportunity for you to discuss your thoughts about the Centre or your course. Times and dates will be advertised in the Centre and on this website during the year. This year the membership fee is £10 for full fee payers and £5 for concessionary fee payers.

Overseas Students
Fees for overseas students, who are not eligible for funding by the Learning and Skills Council are twice the standard fee above - your total will be revised after completing the enrolment form.
