Support with learning

You may need support with your learning. You might have a disability or a learning difficulty. If you need support, please ask. If we can help – and we usually can – then we will.

Need advice on support for learning before you enrol? Please contact Sahara Williams:

Tel: 020 7269 6030 or email Sahara at sahara.williams@marywardcentre.ac.uk.

We can provide you with a hearing loop, large print and other aids for people with visual impairment, level access and specialised equipment to make your experience at the Mary Ward Centre easy and enjoyable.

Once you tell Sahara exactly what you need we can put together a Personal Assistance Plan for you, and if you have a difficulty affecting mobility, we’ll put together a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan so that you will be safe during an emergency. You will be given a copy of this to keep, and copies will also be shared with reception staff.

You may have a learning difficulty and require Additional Learning Support.  This may be additional teaching or other specific support.  We aim to provide support tailored to your needs so that you can achieve your learning goals.  Once more, Sahara is your first port of call.
