A Novel Approach: Novel Writing For Beginners
Who is this course for
This course is for anyone who has an idea they want to turn into a novel. This course is perfect if you want an overview of the steps that go into writing a novel- from the plotting stages to drafting. Whether you have an initial idea or a first draft, this class will take your novel to the next level and will give you an in-depth understanding of outlining, plotting, drafting, and editing.

-How to make sure your idea is 'sellable'

What will it be like
This course will be taught by an industry professional who can provide custom industry insight. It will be a mix of workshop style, group and solo exercises, and lectures on craft.
What else do you need to buy or do
Students will need access to a computer and software such as Word, Pages, or Scrivener. (Other writing software is acceptable)
What this course could lead to
After this course you can move on to 'How to Edit and Sell Your Novel,' which will teach you advanced self-editing techniques, pitching, querying, polishing, author brand building, and industry insight.
