This course is suitable for those who have attended a French course for at least two years. It is open to current French 3 students and above. And other students of the same level.

What does this course cover

This course is intended to develop students' knowledge of current affairs in France. The aim is also to develop speaking and listening skills while discussing articles from the press. Students will develop their vocabulary, speaking skills and knowledge of contemporary France.

What will it be like

The course will be based on:
- A great interaction between students.
- Pair work and group work.
- Reading, listening and speaking activities.
- Realia and authentic material (French press articles from a variety of sources).

What else do you need to buy or do

All the material will be provided by the tutor.
Students will also be given some homework to carry on practising between sessions to ensure progression.
