This course is aimed at beginners. No prior knowledge of Glass or Art and Design is needed. This is a term long introductory course for those who want to learn more about fused glass - melting glass together in a kiln. You will learn to cut glass and the basic principles of glass fusing.

How we assess your progress on the course:
We'll have an informal chat about the work produced on day one, and go through any questions that may arise.
What else do you need to buy or do
What extra study/practice we expect you to do outside the class: none.
All materials for the course are provided.
The maximum size that you can work to is 20cms x 20cms or what will fit on a round kiln shelf. If you want to work on a larger scale the tutor will advise in class - it is possible to hire kiln space at Lead and Light.
