Greetings Cards And Wrapping Paper

Produce your own unique, hand-made greetings cards & wrapping paper using simple printing techniques and learn the basics of relief printing, mono-printing and repeat patterns at the same time.

Who is this course for

This two day course will enable you to print your own greetings cards & wrapping paper, and leave you time to catch the Christmas post! The course is mixed ability & will be suitable both for beginners & those with some experience.

What does this course cover

You will learn simple techniques for printing cards with or without a press and simple repeat techniques.
Print techniques covered will include relief printing and monoprinting.

What will it be like

The teaching methods will include:
' Presentation and discussion of inspiring examples
' Introduction to & demonstration of cutting & printing techniques
' Group discussion and sharing of ideas
' One to One tuition

The course will be run as a hands on practical workshop.

What else do you need to buy or do

Materials will be provided including 6 cards & envelopes per student & 3 pieces of wrapping paper per student.
Additional cards & paper can be purchased.
If you have specific paper or card that you'd like to use bring it along.
