No previous dance experience necessary. This course is designed for anyone who is interested in moving to music and learning the basics of simple dances in a range of styles. Feel refreshed with an uplifting dance class featuring short, simple routines danced to range of music to energise body and mind. No dance experience necessary and suitable for all fitness levels.

What does this course cover

This course will cover short dance routines designed to gently exercise the body and improve coordination and balance. Routines will be danced in a group format with options given to suit different fitness or experience levels and a range of music and dance styles will be included.

What will it be like

Steps will be demonstrated by the tutor for learners to follow as a group before performing to music. The tutor will advise you on styling and timing.

What else do you need to buy or do

Comfortable clothing and footwear (jazz or other soft dance shoes are ideal, or alternatively trainers / plimsolls) are recommended to allow for free movement.

What this course could lead to

You may wish to join another class next term or dance socially. Your tutor will advise you of upcoming options.
