This hands-on and practical course will give you tips and skills to help you write a CV that stands out from the crowd, develop proposals that work and personal statements that say what you want them to. It can also help you develop content for an artist's website.

Who is this course for

This course is for artists, designers and creatives who would like to develop written content for CVs, artist statements, proposals and self promotion.

What does this course cover

The course is designed to identify what they have in place already and what they need to develop further by drawing up at action plan.

What will it be like

Teaching methods: Visual demonstration and verbal explanation. Written handouts with visual diagrams. One-to-one teaching. Group discussions
Learning methods: Hands-on practical activities, Reading handouts and following instructions.
One-to-one and group discussion.
How students are assessed: Questions and answers during group discussions and one-to-one teaching.
Record of students' progress and achievement on an assessment sheet as they achieve the course objectives. Practical work produced is evidence of learning.

What else do you need to buy or do

Bring note book and pen, and a USB stick to save your work on.
