Who is this course for

Silver clay is a relatively new product to the market. It can be worked like clay and is made of fine silver particles, a binder and water. When it is fired (which can be done with an inexpensive butane torch at home) the result is a 99.9% fine silver piece which is of hallmark quality.
If you would like to make silver jewellery at home this is a relatively inexpensive way to have a go.
On this course you will learn about silver clay and make pieces that will be ready to take home at the end of the session. Your tutor is a Certified Art Clay and PMC instructor and holds the Higher diploma in Metal Clay.
No previous experience required, just enthusiasm! You will need to be quite dexterous when working with the clay so please contact the tutor (via reception) for advice if you have any problems with dexterity.
