The Settlement is looking for two new TRUSTEES. We would prefer one with understanding of the legal advice world and a second with understanding and experience of audit processes (also to join Audit & Risk Committee) but would be willing to consider different skills and experience. Experience and/or understanding of the world of adult education is desirable.

The Mary Ward Centre’s oil paintings have been included in the BBC’s ‘Your Paintings’ collection, which has been set up in partnership with the Public Catalogue Foundation. Our artworks are available to view online from 13th December.
The 38th Queen Square Fair

On Saturday 7th July, an event took place in Queen Square that has become a firm favourite in the diary of the local area. Although the previous days - and weeks! - had been gloomy and very wet, the afternoon stayed warm and mostly dry, so all who came to the Fair could enjoy the traditional offerings of a variety of stalls and live entertainment. The Mayor of Camden opened the Fair with thoughtful words remembering that this was the anniversary of the London terrorist bombings in 2005. She spoke of hope for the future with events like the Fair which aimed to bring communities together.
