Peter del Tufo

It is with much sadness that we announce that Peter Del Tufo, a loyal and long standing supporter of the Settlement, passed away last week.  He joined the Settlement Board as Treasurer in the 1970s and continued in that position until his retirement as a Trustee just a couple of years ago.

Community Art groups partner with British Museum to celebrate Colombian Gold

Art groups in eight community centres across Camden, Islington and Tower Hamlets have been busy since May 2013 designing and creating a 3D mountain of artwork inspired by symbolism of pre-Colombian Gold, which is explored in the British Museum’s ‘Beyond El Dorado; Power and Gold in Ancient Colombia’ Exhibition which runs from the 17th - 25th October. The mountain stands at around right foot tall in the Great Court at the British Museum.
