Beginners Guide To AI Platforms

  • Who is it for?

    This course is ideal for beginners with no prior understanding of AI, including researchers, students, academics, and professionals who want to leverage AI to improve their research writing. Whether you are writing a simple blog post or a formal document such as dissertation or academic paper and research document, in this session you learn valuable insights and practical skills to help your writing. A basic familiarity with research methodologies and academic writing is recommended.

  • What does it cover?

    - Introduce the fundamental concepts of AI and its applications.
    - How to use AI tools to research and improve writing process.
    - Provide skills in using AI for literature review, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.
    - Develop the ability to critically evaluate AI tools and techniques for research purposes.
    - Ethical Considerations and Best Practices: Understanding the ethical implications of using AI in research. Best practices for integrating AI into your research workflow.

  • What will it be like?

    The course is both theoretical and practical delivered in person at the Stratford branch. It will be an interacting session using examples and practical exercise and peer discussions to provide a more in-depth learning.

  • What else do I need to buy or do?

    You will not need to buy anything for this course but while the course is an introduction, students will need to have some basic computer skills to make better use of the software.
