One day workshop for all levels.
We will be exploring the versatility of watercolour through creative process exercises responding to natural forms.
Starting with short tutor guided exercises you will encounter a variety of watercolour approaches which will evolve into longer in-depth studies throughout the day.
We have water based colour (acrylic) available and some brushes, but if you have your own bring them along. Standard cartridge paper is provided and more expensive watercolour papers can be bought in class at cost.
You could continue your watercolour studies with Lucie or build confidence and skills with other media in other courses at the college.
Join us for a one-day workshop where we dive into the creative world of watercolours. Through a series of creative process exercises, we will explore the magic of this medium and its ability to capture the essence of natural forms. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop is designed to inspire and challenge you.
A relaxed and fun session giving you the skills to start face painting at events. This course will introduce you to Face Painting. It is suitable for those with little or no experience or if you have done some face painting from a book or online tutorials.
This day long workshop aims to look at different techniques to explore and practice creativity. Teach your subconscious mind to express itself and explore your emotions through the medium of visual art. The workshop will give you an opportunity to create and make art using different mediums through mindfulness, using body warm up exercises, and relaxation techniques.
Use simple, fun techniques, and gain skills and confidence in a range of materials while developing a personal style. This course is not suitable for absolute beginners as much of the work is advanced, experimental and/or relates to exhibitions visited by the class. There are many other painting and drawing classes at the Mary Ward Centre or Blackfriars Centre which would be more suitable.
