Are you in work but looking to enhance your digital literacy skills for the workplace environment? Digital Skills for Work is a new course. It will improve your understanding of IT and help you progress into a work role where digital skills are required. You'll learn strategies in how to identify what skills you need as well as develop your general IT skills.
Do you need to know how to use Computers and IT in your everyday life? Do you feel left behind by your lack of knowledge? This starter qualification is designed for those who have a limited knowledge of using computers and is designed to give you basic skills to help you with work and daily life. To enrol on to this course, you will need to book in and attend one of our Advice and Information sessions. Do you need to improve your digital skills to help you in your job or to find work? This qualification is for aimed at students who have some knowledge of using computers. It is designed for to improve your IT skills required for the modern workplace. The course will focus on three key programs used in employment: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Upon successful completion of three online exams, you receive the BCS Level 1 Award in IT User Skills (ICDL Essentials) (ITQ). ( Formally known as ECDL) To enrol on to this course, you will need to book in and attend one of our Advice and Information sessions.
