If you’re looking for a friendly, easy way to move your body, this 4‑week Introduction to Stretch & Flex is the perfect place to start. This course is designed to help you feel more open, relaxed, and in tune with your body—without pressure or intensity.
Across the four weeks, you’ll explore gentle dynamic warm‑ups, simple static stretches, and supported movements that improve your flexibility at a comfortable pace. You’ll work with major muscle groups like your calves, hamstrings, hips, chest, and spine, using safe and accessible versions of the stretches from the full Stretch & Flex course.
It’s ideal if you’re new to stretching, coming back to exercise, or simply want time each week to release tension and feel good in your body.
A comprehensive stretch and flexibility workout focuses on improving overall mobility and reducing muscle tightness. The session begins with dynamic warm-up movements to gently prepare the body. This is followed by static stretches targeting all major muscle groups. Key exercises include calf stretches using wall support, hamstring stretches performed seated or standing with support, hip-opening movements such as butterfly pose and pigeon pose, chest openers like the doorway stretch, and spinal mobility exercises including knee-to-chest twists. This balanced approach helps enhance flexibility, promote relaxation, and support overall physical well-being.
You just need: comfy clothing you can move in, water. No experience needed.
When you finish this course, you can move on to the full Stretch & Flex class next term, where you’ll deepen your stretches and build on everything you’ve learned.
Or, if you’re feeling inspired, you might explore other wellbeing, dance, or fitness courses to continue your movement journey.
