The tutor will carry out a series of demonstrations and explanations of different types of wax; how to carve for the wax casting process; what tools to use; carving waxes.
Handouts will be given out to illustrate the demonstrations with a list of books and suppliers for further study.
YouTube and the internet will be used as reference to show examples of jewellery that have been made using the techniques shown in the class.

  • What else do I need to buy or do?

    Wax jewellery tools are provided.
    Students should bring:

    Sketchbook and inspiration material
Wear shoes with covered toes - NO sandals or flip flops

  • What could it lead to?
