Develop skills to design and create wirework jewellery. You will learn basic techniques of working with coloured wire to create JEWELLERY or DECORATIVE OBJECTS
Suitable for complete beginners. Also ideal for those who have some jewellery experience but wish to add to their repertoire.
You will be learning techniques for working with coloured wire to create decorative objects or jewellery.
You will be exploring:
The properties of wire - what it can and can't do
Basic weaving techniques
Bead setting
Shape and form
Simple and more advanced projects will be provided. Students are welcome to develop own ideas
You will learn basic techniques for working with wire such as:
different weaving techniques
a variety of beading techniques
forming and shaping wire-work
You will learn to make your own jewellery. The course aims to provide you with all the essentials needed to continue on your own.
This is a practical course where you will be making jewellery and / or objects from coloured wire.
This will be supported via:

Basic materials such as coloured wire and beads will be provided. Additional materials are available at low cost if you wish to use them.
All equipment provided.
You may wish to bring a note or sketch book.
This course is ideal for those wishing to learn a simple technique which can be developed at home.
There is no formal homework set, but you are encouraged to develope your skills and ideas on your own.

Explore a range of techniques working with silver clay, and learn how to shape, refine and complete your own unique silver jewellery pieces. Ideal for beginners and those with some jewellery experience wishing to learn a new skill.
Resin jewellery making is a fun and inexpensive way to be creative. You will learn techniques to add colour and mould your resin into unique shapes that can be made up into basic jewellery pieces.
Learn a range of techniques and processes for creating enamelled jewellery and other small objects. Students will learn a range of enamelling techniques and how to prepare metal for enamelling. Students will learn several different surface texturing techniques such as hammer texture, use of rolling mills and the use of pendant drill to texture and drill. All levels welcome - suitable for complete beginners.
