Intelligence And Learning – A Psychological Exploration

For centuries parents, educators and employers have tried to develop and apply the best techniques to teach people, scaffolding practical and academic knowledge that serves their needs. From this, it became increasingly apparent that there are both commonalities and considerable differences in individual intelligences and learning styles. Scientific Psychology has engaged itself with the twin processes of both describing how people learn and measure the different thinking skills that make up our intelligence. This brief course will critically explore some of these ideas and their implications.
