Latin Line – Summer School

Who is this course for

No previous dance experience necessary. This course is designed for anyone who is interested in learning to dance Latin Line routines.

What does this course cover

This course will cover several short line dances based on Latin dance rhythms such as Cha Cha Cha, Mambo and Samba. Routines will be performed to Latin and pop music as a group in a line dance style rather than with a partner.

What will it be like

Steps will be demonstrated by the tutor for learners to follow before performing to music. The tutor will advise you on styling and timing.

What else do you need to buy or do

Comfortable clothing and footwear (jazz or other soft dance shoes are ideal, or alternatively trainers / plimsolls) are recommended to allow for free movement.

What this course could lead to

You may wish to join another class next term or dance socially. Your tutor will advise you of upcoming options.
