This course is for those who want a less energetic version of Zumba, the new fitness activity that is built around Latin American dance movements.

Who is this course for

Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements, creating a dynamic, exciting, exhilarating and effective fitness system. It combines medium and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It contains gentle movements that increase joint flexibility and increase muscle strength.

Zumba's cardio-based dance movements are easy-to-follow steps that include body sculpting, which target areas such as legs, arms, core and abdominals. It is strengthens the stomach and back muscles without overstraining the back.

It is easy on the body and protects the lower legs from injury as you will always be keeping one foot on the ground at all times. Even though Low Impact Zumba is easier on your body, the exercises will still burn calories. Burning calories plays a major role in maintaining a healthy weight and heart.

Low Impact Zumba offers a good way to begin an exercise program and is suitable for seniors and people who are looking for a new way to maintain or improve their fitness levels.

Low Impact Zumba is easy to follow and you do not need any previous knowledge and experience. It helps you remain active, it decreases stress levels and makes you feel more energetic and happy. Zumba is for everybody who loves up-tempo music.
