Who is this course for

This course is for anyone with a beloved small piece of furniture which needs revitalising, a broken picture frame or picture which needs remounting in a frame you love. Learn to mend a leather bag or make a shoe repair, fix a light that needs rewiring or lampshade in need of re-covering, repair a silver tray or little bowl that is misshapen, join our class

What does this course cover

The first lesson will be an assessment of the piece, so if possible bring two pieces that you are wanting to repair - just in case one is not a viable project.

What will it be like

A friendly workshop where you can learn skills to help you work on cushions, small upholstered pieces, picture frames, lost mouldings (regilding ,remounting). Leather / shoe repairs, paint finishes or create an art work from an old piece. Mend an old wooden chair or small side table, replace hinges and decorate boxes.

What else do you need to buy or do

Depending on the repair, there may be an additional shopping list .
