Feeling low? Using breathing exercises, yoga poses, meditation and relaxation techniques learn how to take control and manage menopausal symptoms you may be experiencing.
Who is this course for
Women who are experiencing menopause, peri-menopause or POI.
If you have specific injuries or health problems please get advice from a medical practitioner before enrolling.
What does this course cover
Learn breathing techniques to reduce stress and anxiety.
Learn poses that help build strength & energise the body without overheating the body Find out which poses can help with brain fog, mild depression, hot flushes and other symptoms of the menopause.
Use relaxation techniques to release tension, mood swings and feel revived.
What will it be like
We will have a chance to briefly talk through any current or new symptoms and feel connected & supported by others going through a similar phase of life.
The teacher demonstrates poses as well as giving instructions and verbal cues. Props are available and advice offered to assist and support alignment. Progress will be monitored visually and verbal feedback will given throughout the course.
What else do you need to buy or do
Pilates/yoga mats are provided, however students are welcome to bring their own. Blocks and belts are also provided. It will be useful to bring a blanket that can be rolled up.
Students should wear loose comfortable clothing and should avoid eating a heavy meal before class. Drinking Water; Students wishing to have water in the studio should bring a bottle, as the fountain there is designed for bottle filling only.

You will need a microphone (it's fine to use whatever is built into your device) and camera, so we can see you via video. You may also want to use headphones during the session.
Make sure you have a small space to work in during the session.
