The Science Of How People Think

Our mind is constantly engaged in mental processes and acts as an information processor. This course will introduce you to the concepts and theories related to the scientific exploration of the human mind and behaviour. Psychology will be explained as an experimental science that studies the way we perceive, process and respond to information from the outside world. The course will introduce you to major topics, such as perception, attention, memory, and language, and to the methods scientists use to study them. You will learn and discuss how to study human behaviour and the brain in relation to perception, thinking and learning
