This course is for adults with some experience of digital marketing who want to learn how write for social media, blogs and newsletters to promote small businesses or organisations. It focuses on producing lively, searchable written content for social media posts, blogs and newsletters.

• Identifying and researching topics to write about
• Examples of successful social media posts, blogs and newsletters
• Publishing your content on free platforms Substack and BlueSky
Friendly, hands-on, and supportive. You’ll work in small groups with lots of guided practice and one-to-one help. There are no tests—just a relaxed environment to build your confidence. The tutor will also provide clear, easy-to-follow written handouts so you can review what you’ve learned at your own pace.
You will need your own mobile phone and access to a computer, either your own or use a free computer at the centre.
