Safeguarding at Mary Ward

At Mary Ward we are committed to keeping our students safe.  We aim to provide a safe and secure environment for all our students and promote values of mutual respect and tolerance of differences.  We want our students to feel able to discuss their concerns with a member of staff they can trust.  If you wish to do so you can contact your tutor, member of our reception team or the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Sue Craggs.

You can telephone her on: 020 7269 6071 or 07565 301 490 or email her at:  sue.craggs@marywardcentre.ac.uk

The friendly place to learn

The Mary Ward has a reputation as the friendly place to learn – this is because as well as getting first-rate teaching, we also offer the support and encouragement you need to help you get the most from your course.

New Partnership with Redbridge Institute of Adult Education

We are delighted to announce that Redbridge Institute of Adult Education and the Mary Ward Centre are entering into a new formal strategic partnership to improve access to creative arts learning across the east of London.

This exciting partnership will mean a much wider range of creative arts courses are on offer to both existing and prospective students – meaning that even more people will be able to benefit. The partnership, which will come into effect from the new academic year in September 2024, will deliver courses at both Gants Hill and Stratford.

“We are so pleased to be working with Redbridge Institute, where together, we can continue to offer high-quality teaching and facilities to support the skills development for local residents in the creative arts sector which is thriving and growing in East London.” Therese Reinheimer-Jones, CEO, Mary Ward Settlement
