At the Mary Ward Centre in Stratford, East London, we’ve got exactly that: a range of welcoming, affordable rooms that are ideal for everything from creative workshops to meetings, training sessions, or even community events.
All set inside our award-winning, accessible, and environmentally-conscious building.

A PLACE TO GATHER, CREATE AND CONNECT

Whether you’re running a wellbeing workshop, filming a scene, or holding a team planning day, we’ve got a space that fits. Our rooms are available to hire by the hour, half day, or full day, and we can provide catering and equipment with a bit of notice.

We even offer team-building sessions – think pottery, jewellery-making, and more – so your booking can become an experience.

COME AND VISIT OUR AWARD-WINNING CENTRE

We’re proud of our beautifully transformed space, a former office building that we’ve reimagined as a modern education hub. Along the way, we retained 65% of the original structure, dramatically cutting carbon emissions and keeping sustainability at the heart of the building.

We’ve been recognised for our efforts too, including New London Awards 2024 and the AJ100 Community Impact Award 2024.

We welcome over 5,500 students a year through our doors, and we’ve designed every space to feel open, inclusive, and alive with possibility. You’ll feel it the moment you step inside.

We have another venue available for hire in Central London: the Blackfriars Settlement, located at SE1 0RB. Just a short walk from Southwark, Waterloo, Borough, and Elephant and Castle stations, this site offers versatile spaces perfect for meetings, workshops, and community events. Breakout areas are available on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. The use of the breakout area on the same floor as the booked room is included with your booking.
