L3 Community Interpreting

Are you bilingual and looking to use your language skills to make a real difference? Our Level 3 Community Interpreting course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to work as a community interpreter, helping people access essential public services with confidence.

Community interpreters play a vital role in society by supporting communication between service providers and people who speak little or no English. They work in settings such as healthcare, local government, housing, education and community organisations, helping individuals understand their rights, access services and make informed decisions

This qualification will develop your interpreting techniques, professional ethics, communication skills and understanding of the role of a community interpreter. You’ll gain practical experience and learn how to interpret accurately, impartially and confidentially in real-life situations.

For many learners, becoming a community interpreter is more than a career—it’s an opportunity to give back to their own language and cultural community. By helping others overcome language barriers, you’ll play an important role in promoting inclusion, equality and access to essential services.

Whether you’re looking to start a new career, expand your professional opportunities or use your language skills to support your community, our Level 3 Community Interpreting course offers an excellent foundation for a rewarding future.
