I enjoy teaching courses in comparative politics with a focus on the UK and the European Union. In recent years I have helped learners – both at universities and in adult education – explore political ideologies, trace the history of democracy and gain a better understanding of what “being a politician” requires and entails. When I am not in a classroom I explain British politics in articles and books to readers in Germany and always find some time to look after my cat Dora.
