Emily Betz

I earned my PhD in early modern history from the University of St Andrews in 2023. My research explores the intersection of British medicine, politics and identity from the late sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries.

I have experience lecturing in early modern history at the University of St Andrews and St Mary’s University Twickenham. I currently teach history at Mary Ward Centre in London.
