Concessionary Fee Eligibility

You may be entitled to a concessionary fee on some courses if you meet the following criteria:

  • Are in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance (JSA)
  • Are in receipt of Employment Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Are in receipt of Universal Credit (UC)
  • Are in receipt of another means-tested benefit other than the basic state pension and child benefits.

Concessionary fees range from a 65% reduction to a 100% reduction depending on the course.

English, maths and some digital skills courses are free to everyone.
Some courses attract a 100% discount if you are working and earn below the London Living Wage – £27,000 per annum/£13.85 per hour – these courses include:

  • Level 1, 2 and 3 Community Interpreting
  • ESOL courses
  • Level 2 and Level 3 Art qualifications
  • Essential Digital Skills Qualifications
  • Level 3 and 4 Counselling

Most of the non-accredited courses attract a 65% reduction if you meet the relevant criteria.

Please ask at Front Desk in either centre for more information about concessionary fees.
