How to use the kiln safely, following all the Health and Safety workshop procedures and learn how to enamel their bowl to produce interesting finishes. It is also suitable for more experience learners who will develop techniques.
Students will learn how to enamel on a pre made copper bowl. This is enamelling on a curved surface, both inside and outside of the bowls using a variety of techniques to create a beautiful enamelled bowl.
It will be a very enjoyable class and you will leave with a finished bowl. Tutor demonstrations and explanations will guide students in their creations.
Enamels will be supplied but you will need to purchase the bowls from the tutor (these are sold at cost - £15) and a nominal fee if they use the tutor's crackle enamel, which is a special effect enamel.
