These courses provide an opportunity to build your skills and further develop your interests and talents in the Visual Arts or prepare for university entry at BA or MA level. You will work in supportive and friendly group environments with the guidance and tuition of experienced tutors who are practising artists, makers and creatives themselves. Mary Ward can also offer additional learning support to those who may need it and bursaries are available to those in financial difficulty. If you are interested in the Pre Foundation or Foundation courses you will need to attend an interview with a portfolio of work. Are you ready to take your art to the next level? Then this course is for you. Develop your own practice or prepare a portfolio for Foundation or HND. Some students progress directly to BA and Masters. You will work towards a NCFE Level 2 certificate.
